Rain at the Park

Kim and Jo take lunch to the park. Kim has sandwiches. Jo has water and two bananas. They find a table near a tree.

The sky is grey. Jo looks up. "Is that rain?"

A drop of water falls on Kim's hand. Then there is more rain. The friends put their food back in their bags.

"There is a small cafe over there," says Kim.

They run to the cafe. The woman inside says they can sit at a table outside, under the roof.

They buy two hot drinks and eat their lunch. They can still see the trees. They are dry, and the park is quiet.
